Amy Dudas testifyingDirector of Re-engagement & Workforce Initiatives

As the Senior Policy Analyst, Ms. Dudas works with the DCAYA team and coalition partners to produce timely publications for policy makers and the public, and to secure strategic public policy advancement for the youth of Washington, DC, specifically in the area of Youth Workforce Development and in the interest of Disconnected Youth. Representing DCAYA, she serves as the Advocacy Partner for Raise DC, sits on the Disconnected Youth Change Network, and has led the Youth Employment Change Network. Ms. Dudas has worked in collaboration with the DC Adult and Family Literacy Coalition to create transportation subsidies for the District’s adult and alternative learners and create a State Diploma for nontraditional students.

Prior to her work with DCAYA, Ms. Dudas worked with a women’s workforce advocacy group in DC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Simmons College, where she completed her thesis on human trafficking and the human rights of women. She holds an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and is a graduate of the Washington Semester’s International Law and Organizations Program at American University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Administration from George Washington University. She’s a proud export of the Jersey Shore.
