Christopher Suarez is a litigation associate at Williams & Connolly LLP, where his practice focuses on patent and technology litigation. Chris has an extensive education pro bono litigation practice, where he represents DC-area students in need of special education services, as well as students facing suspensions or expulsions. An alum of the Chicago Public Schools and a former teacher, Chris has mentored and supported teachers beginning their careers with Teach For America. While in law school, Chris served as the clinic director of Yale Law School’s Education Adequacy Project, which challenged Connecticut’s school funding system. He has published on education law and policy issues in several law journals, and is the founder of a grassroots organization in the school diversity, equity, and inclusion movement.
