Senior Policy Specialist at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP

As a Senior Policy Specialist, Amy works with universities, companies, and non-profit organizations to help them understand and navigate the complexities of the federal government to achieve their public policy goals and objectives. She advocates at the federal level on a range of legislative and regulatory matters related to education, technology, and trade policy issues. In this role, she develops and implements strategic plans that seek to influence policymakers to solve her clients’ challenges and secure key opportunities to benefit their organizations. She also provides policy guidance on the impact of federal policies and legislation on her clients’ work.

Serving in a ministry through her local church, Amy works with Covenant House Washington to support homeless youth living in the Washington DC area. She spends her weekends serving and mentoring the youth residents at the Covenant House Crisis Center and participates on the leadership team that facilitates and coordinates the volunteer visits to the Crisis Center in Southeast DC.

Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Mass Communications.
